MAP testing is an assessment that your child is given at school in the areas of Reading, Language Usage, and Math. The data from these assessments is used to show your child's growth or progress in these areas over their academic years. Teachers use this data to help them keep track of your child's progress and growth and to identify your child's strengths and if your child is in need of help in specific areas. MAP testing data is used to help teachers guide their classroom instruction. NWEA provides parents with a Parent ToolKit. Click here to access the toolkit.
